Learning From My Gambling Failures

1st to clarify why I write this article. I have been betting on the net or at land-based betting houses for a great many years. I have learned, the addiction can grab a hold of you and you will not even realize it until you are flat broke. Especially if you’re on a winning run. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go too far. It seems you’re just having a blast until you decide to track your losses and the anguish settles in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you feel sick in your gut and the harder you try the quicker you are deprived.

When you see that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to be beaten, don’t say to yourself, "well perhaps just one more" and over and over again, believe me, this plan hardly ever operates. Say you’re betting on slots, have a bankroll put aside before beginning your play. Don’t go over that limit, no matter how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a different cup. Don’t spend your wins no matter what. Once you’ve gone through your primary set limit, stop. Head out, whether it’s on the net or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there is going to be a different day, another time.

Always remember, betting is supposed to be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcannot manage the loss, don’t even start.
